Horehound (Marrubium vulgare)

Low, hardy and hairy, this bitter mint has a mildly analgesic action that soothes tired noses and throats and aids in fighting coughs and colds. The flower heads grab at your clothing and beg to come home.


Hand grown and processed in Bellingham, WA by our family for yours; distilled immediately after harvest in small batches to preserve our plants’ natural medicinal moisture.

Our hydrosols come in a sealed, four fluid ounce, amber glass bottle; we include an atomizer for each bottle. They are unfiltered and contain no preservatives. Hydrosols should be stored in a cool, dry location and are best if used within one year. Refrigeration can extend shelf life.

We strive to be pollinator friendly and will never use pesticides or herbicides. We believe in no-till, cover cropping, and feeding the soil not plants.

Our packaging is made from reused materials and is recyclable or compostable; our bottles can be reused or recycled.
