A Family Farm for over

half a century

About Us

Who We Are:

Woodard Creek Homestead is a family farm that we've been gardening with organic and mulch-method techniques for the last 55 years.  The vision that guides us is sustainable living to the seventh generation and our family hopes to inspire others to do this as well.

We try to demonstrate that even with an older home

(the original cabin that is the main structure of our home was built in 1939), it is possible to live in Western Washington using solar energy and with a small carbon footprint.

Part of this commitment is to use everything to its fullest potential. That is why so many of our cottage industry products are fashioned from upcycled materials: things that have been used as they were intended and now are given new life as something else by the work of our hands.
